Job summary

Pear Tree. is seeking a diligent Credit Analyst to join our Australian mortgage brokerage team. You will structure, assess, and submit loan applications for residential lending, thinking like a broker and forecasting credit outcomes from fact find through submission.

You will work with multiple lenders, including proprietary products, handling deals end-to-end. The role requires hands-on experience with Connective and Mercury CRM, and a solid understanding of lender policies and servicing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Australian mortgage broking or credit analysis
• Experience with complex deals beyond vanilla PAYG
• Proficiency with Connective required
• Mercury CRM experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower scenarios (PAYG, self-employed, complex structures)
• Structure deals including refinances and equity release
• Prepare and submit loan applications via Connective
• Review MIRs and ensure credit strength
• Liaise with lenders, BDMs, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain notes and pipeline in Mercury CRM
