Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Risk Officer - Model Risk Management to join the Risk Management Department in Taguig. This hybrid role focuses on governance, analytics, and reporting for enterprise model risk.

You will support model validation activities, maintain inventories, and produce dashboards for senior management and the Risk Management Committee, aligning with regulatory standards and the bank's risk framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Master's degree is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain model inventory with clear documentation of purpose, ownership, lifecycle stage, and risk classification
• Apply and update criteria for materiality, tiering, and risk classification in line with the Model Risk Management Framework
• Perform consistency checks to ensure all models meeting governance definitions are properly captured and monitored
• Consolidate model information including validation status, findings, and limitations into enterprise-level risk views
• Identify risk concentrations and dependencies across ICAAP, ECL/IFRS 9, stress testing, pricing, and strategic processes
• Track remediation status of validation findings, elevate high-risk issues, and support management visibility
• Prepare dashboards and working papers for Senior Management and the Risk Management Committee
