Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape AI systems powering a major European car marketplace. You will design, build, and operate production ML and GenAI solutions, influencing technical direction and enabling teammates across Product, Engineering, and Business units.

You will mentor other data scientists, drive robust engineering practices, and own end-to-end ML workflows in a global setting with cross-country data considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production ML systems.
• Advanced degree in a technical field.
• Strong Python and ML framework experience.
• Experience with AWS and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own ML/GenAI systems end-to-end in production.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and improve models.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Evolve systems across multiple markets and data regimes.
• Mentor junior data scientists with code reviews and guidance.
• Raise engineering standards across the Data Science org.
