Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Senior MIS Analyst to own data pipelines, produce advanced analytics, and drive continuous process improvement. The role focuses on turning raw data into strategic models and standardized reports for senior leadership.

You will build dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik), automate reporting, and ensure data quality across departments. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in BI, analytics, or automation are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or process automation.
• Proven experience extracting data from CMS and optimizing manual reporting to reduce cycle time and defects.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, and deep understanding of call center statistics.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate manual data entry, and reduce operational waste.
• Automate repetitive reporting processes utilizing scripts (e.g., SQL, VBA) or workflow tools to reduce cycle time and defects.
• Develop standardized templates, centralized data pipelines, and highly optimized reporting procedures.
• Transition basic reporting into predictive and diagnostic analytics to find root causes for business trends.
• Support ad hoc requests from stakeholders by providing complex analytical insights.
• Present data narratives that drive data literacy across operational leadership.
• Collect data from diverse departments, CMS platforms, and databases, ensuring completeness and consistency.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to deliver actionable insights.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into standardized daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Validate complex datasets, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile reports between disparate systems.
• Identify errors systematically and coordinate with relevant departments for upstream corrections.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure a consistent, efficient reporting process.

The Senior MIS Analyst acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who manages organizational data pipelines while driving advanced analytics and continuous process improvement. Building upon foundational data collection and reporting tasks, this role focuses on identifying operational inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and automating manual reporting to optimize turnaround times. The Senior Analyst translates raw data into strategic models, bridging technical operations and senior leadership by delivering standardized reports, trend analyses, and performance insights.

What You’ll Do:

Process Improvement & Automation (SME Focus)

• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate manual data entry, and reduce operational waste.
• Automate repetitive reporting processes utilizing scripts (e.g., SQL, VBA) or workflow tools (e.g., Google App Script, Power Automate) to reduce cycle time and defects.
• Develop standardized templates, centralized data pipelines, and highly optimized reporting procedures.

Advanced Analytics & Insights

• Transition basic reporting into predictive and diagnostic analytics to find root causes for business trends.
• Support ad hoc requests from stakeholders by providing complex analytical insights.
• Present data narratives that drive data literacy across operational leadership.

Data Collection & Dashboard Development

• Collect data from diverse departments, CMS platforms, and databases, ensuring completeness and consistency.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to deliver actionable insights.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into standardized daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Data Quality & Reconciliation

• Validate complex datasets, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile reports between disparate systems.
• Identify errors systematically and coordinate with relevant departments for upstream corrections.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure a consistent, efficient reporting process.

What We’re Looking For:

External Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or process automation.
• Proven experience extracting data from CMS and optimizing manual reporting to reduce cycle time and defects.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, and deep understanding of call center statistics.
• Utilization of data discovery and visualization tools like Google Looker (preferred), Microsoft Power BI (preferred), Qlik, or Tableau.
• Demonstrated capability in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean principles, workflow mapping) to eliminate waste.
• High-functioning communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interface with senior leadership.

Qualifications Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
