Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. seeks an experienced RPG developer to support IBM i/AS400-based systems in a retail-oriented environment.

The role focuses on maintaining high-volume batch processes and system integrations, ensuring smooth operations across critical business apps. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of hands-on RPG development and production-support experience on IBM i/AS400, with a preference for retail domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS/CE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years RPG development and production-support on IBM i/AS400.
• Experience supporting enterprise, high-volume, batch-oriented apps and system integrations.
• Strong preference for experience in retail, supermarket, department store, distribution, warehouse or merchandising systems.
• Certifications in IBM i, RPG, DB2, retail systems, software development, or IT service management are advantageous.
