Job summary

Aboitiz Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to lead the MEPFS tender team in the Philippines. You will oversee design, cost estimation, and supplier quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

You will review complex tender documents, coordinate site visits, and prepare technical write-ups for interviews while maintaining an organized repository of submissions. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Manufacturing / Data Center MEPFS works.
• Strong knowledge of MEPFS tender preparation, submission, costing and estimating.
• Proficient in MEPFS technical design and documentation.
• Lux lighting simulations and/or Heat Load Calculations is a plus.
• Strong tender presentation and communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with leadership, professionalism, teamwork and integrity.
• Willing to travel to various project sites and work nights/weekends when required.
• Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a more senior role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team in preparing and submitting MEPFS tenders with quality and timeliness.
• Oversee MEPFS design, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, costing, estimating, and supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Review tender specs, client requirements, drawings, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Attend tender briefings and site visits; delegate tasks and monitor deadlines.
• Prepare technical write-ups, tender specs, and presentation materials for interviews.
• Maintain a repository of tender documents and templates for future use.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with policies and deadlines.
