Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines seeks a Senior Medical Coder (Automation) working from home during night shifts. You will review AI-generated medical codes and ensure accuracy in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS, aligning with US payer guidelines.

Collaborate with clinical, technical, and product teams to refine AI tools, stay updated on coding changes, and contribute to governance of AI-assisted workflows; a CPC/CCS certification and 5+ years of coding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management or related field.
• AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS-P/CCS certification required.
• 5+ years in healthcare coding with CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS proficiency.
• Experience with US payers and CAC/NLP tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI generated CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM data.
• Verify coding/billing guidelines from AI outputs.
• Identify AI data anomalies or defects.
• Provide feedback to AI to improve model performance.
• Stay updated on coding/billing regulatory changes.
• Contribute to AI-assisted workflow coding guidelines.
• Validate criteria for policy or rule suitability.
• Serve as SME in cross-functional teams.
