Job summary

PETValue in Cavite, Philippines, seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to lead mechanical engineering activities, maintenance programs, and improvement projects. You will plan preventive and predictive maintenance for mechanical equipment, troubleshoot failures, and support installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.

The role requires coordinating with Production, E & I, Utilities, and other departments to ensure reliable operation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities, maintenance programs, and improvement projects.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure reliable operation of pumps, compressors, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, piping, and other plant equipment.
• Develop equipment specifications, maintenance plans, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Review mechanical designs, drawings, technical specifications, and equipment proposals.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend modifications to improve reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical & Instrumentation, Utilities, and other departments for maintenance and engineering needs.
• Supervise contractors and ensure proper execution of mechanical works.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up activities.
• Monitor spare parts, tools, and materials required for mechanical maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering practices, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanical technicians and junior engineers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
