Job summary

SimCorp Manila is seeking a qualified Analyst to join our Market Data Services team. The role focuses on producing high quality content and maintaining data products for global clients, working with cross-location teams. A strong quantitative background and experience with SQL/Python is valued.

Based in Manila, you’ll contribute to multi-factor risk data, stay engaged with financial markets, and support continuous improvement across data production processes within a hybrid APAC setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to work with cross-location teams.
• Experience with SQL, Python or similar programming languages; UNIX/Linux is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA tasks and data analysis to ensure validity of content for SimCorp's clients.
• Monitor financial markets and ensure correct processing of corporate events (IPOs, M&A, stock splits, rights issues, dividends).
• Collaborate with global teams in London, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and San Francisco.
• Manipulate large financial data sets and use tools to present and analyze results.
• Assist Sales and Client Support in resolving data inquiries.
• Identify workflow improvements and streamline data production processes.
• Collaborate across all teams involved in the data production process.
