Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Binangonan, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Linux / Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust IT and network infrastructure across our facilities. The role requires deep Linux administration (Red Hat / Rocky Linux), network security, storage, and automation using Ansible and related tools.

You will build high-speed LAN/WAN, manage 10G/100G fabric, coordinate with IT security and OT teams, and contribute to 24/7 plant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/EE or related field.
4+ years in network and Linux infra engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
Deep Linux expertise with Rocky Linux/RHEL and core services (DNS, DHCP, NFS).
Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls, policy mgmt, and ISP failover.
Experience automating at scale; IaC with Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, security.
Experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper; rugged switches for plant-floor.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (NIST).
Experience with Wi‑Fi 6 and private cellular in industrial environments.
Experience with monitoring (Grafana/Zabbix) and on-call alerting (PagerDuty).
Able to review data center/plant-floor designs and work with cabling teams.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN across plants, warehouses, cloud, and sites.
Manage 10G/100G core switching; ensure scalable, resilient fabric design.
Configure Layer 2/3 networking and security (Palo Alto, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS).
Deploy and maintain Linux servers using Ansible, MAAS, Foreman; automate provisioning.
Monitor uptime, latency, bandwidth; proactively resolve issues.
Design redundancy, failover, QoS, and traffic engineering for 24/7 operations.
Manage cabling, Wi‑Fi 6/6E, and rugged networking hardware for plant-floor.
Collaborate with IT security, OT, and engineering teams for reliable connectivity.
Lead modernization projects including network redesigns for new equipment.
Maintain network documentation (topology, IPAM) and SOPs; keep current.
Provide Level 2/3 support; participate in on-call rotation for production issues.
