Job summary

Lalamove is seeking a Public Policy professional to engage government agencies, NGOs, and business chambers in the Philippines to promote partnerships and policy dialogue.

The role includes monitoring policies and regulations affecting the corporate sector, preparing concise briefs and coordinating ESG initiatives, with reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs. Onsite work in Parañaque is required, with travel to various locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or master's degree in public policy or related field.
• Experience with government agencies at local and national levels.
• Experience formulating and implementing strategic communications and partnership plans.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders (government, NGOs, business chambers) in the Philippines to promote exchange of views and partnerships.
• Monitor and analyze public policies, laws, and regulations relevant to corporate activities in the Philippines.
• Prepare concise write-ups, papers, illustrations and presentations.
• Coordinate ESG-related discussions and align with corporate strategies in the Philippines.

What you’ll do:

• Engage different stakeholders such as government authorities, non-governmental organisations, business chambers, etc. in the Philippines to promote exchange of views, build consensus on issues and explore partnerships.
• Monitor and conduct research and analyses on public policies, laws and regulations, academic studies, industry practices, etc. in the Philippines that are relevant to the business activities of the Corporate sector.
• Prepare concise and effective write-ups, papers, illustrations and presentations
• Coordinate internal discussions and efforts in Philippines along with the Corporate's strategies on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects
• Report to Director, Corporate Affairs and undertake any other assignments as instructed

• A wise and reliable practitioner with both private and government exposure to public policy.

What you’ll need:

• A degree or master's degree holder with prior education or experience in public policy preferred
• Knowledgeable in dealing with various local and national government agencies.
• Experience in formulating and implementing strategic communications and partnership plans concerning external partners
• Must be willing to both working onsite (Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange) and travelling to different locations when representing the company
