Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and J&J Credo guidelines.
- Maintain operational excellence and own delivery of operational results/KPIs (e.g., cycle time, automation rate, unapplied cash, DSO, BP AR targets).
- Manage inquiries, provide resolutions, and expedite escalation of issues.
- Identify gaps, mitigate risks, and maintain a strong, compliant environment.
- Ensure ITC adheres to established processes and policies.
- Provide ITC expertise to stakeholders/business partners using data to develop business cases and influence decisions.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent: set goals, run performance reviews, and deliver development plans.
- Lead DE&I hiring and development initiatives to build future-ready skills.
- Partner with stakeholders (Finance, Commercial/Business Unit, etc.) to resolve issues, align priorities, and meet objectives/commitments.
- Communicate performance, risks, remediation plans, and changes to senior stakeholders.
- Lead and drive business changes and requirements (acquisitions, divestitures, business model changes) and ensure delivery of benefits.
- Lead continuous improvements to deliver efficiency, effectiveness, experience, and insights.
- Lead, drive, shape, and manage business transformations (systems and process transformations).
- Primary focus on ITC Cash Applications; may also be assigned to broader ITC projects (systems, process transformations, A&D, organization, etc.) as needed.
- Candidate must be flexible to work alternate or extended shifts to support global assignments and stakeholder overlap (primary shift: EMEA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certifications).
- 8-12 years of work experience.
- 4-7 years of management/supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience in operations or service delivery with strong knowledge of compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Hands‑on experience in ITC Cash Applications with proven delivery against operational metrics and process redesign.
- Practical experience with ERP systems (SAP).
- Experience working across regions or supporting global stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple, competing or changing priorities.
- Proven ability to make data‑driven decisions in ambiguous or complex situations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leaders and influencing cross‑functional partners.
- Effective in leading and managing change for teams and business partners: drive adoption, minimize disruption, and deliver intended benefits for system/process transformations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fundamentals in Finance & Accounting (e.g., accounts reconciliation, month‑end close).
- Broad understanding of ITC or Order‑to‑Cash end‑to‑end processes.
- Proven track record in Operational Excellence and Process Design/Transformation.
- Experience leading automation and delivering measurable results.
- Demonstrated success delivering cross‑regions, cross‑functional programs in a global, matrixed environment.
