Job summary

Keoni is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to lead the architecture of IBM Mainframe Z Series systems and iSeries security. The role focuses on maintaining a robust security posture, developing remediation strategies, and guiding cross-team security initiatives.

You will collaborate with security teams, supervise incident response for Mainframe environments, and contribute to the long-term product roadmap for Cyber Defense offerings. Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of IT security operations experience, focused on IBM Mainframe Z Series and iSeries.
• Expertise with IBM Mainframe security standards (z/OS Security, RACF, zSecure, etc.).
• English environment – mandatory.
• Security certifications related to IBM Mainframe Z Series are a plus (e.g., IBM Certified Administrator - Security z/OS).

Responsibilities

• Act as Cyber Defense Security Designer for IBM Mainframe Z Series and iSeries to maintain security posture.
• Collaborate with security teams to identify risks and develop remediation strategies for Mainframe architectures.
• Lead architecture discussions for other security products and domains.
• Conduct regular security assessments of Mainframe Z Series and iSeries infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.
• Support application deployment with Mainframe security policies and regulatory compliance.
• Perform OS and infrastructure security configuration reviews and remediation options.
• Coordinate security incident response within IBM Mainframe Z Series and iSeries.
• Provide Mainframe-specific security guidance to other teams.
• Support implementation of security controls for new systems and projects.
• Contribute to security awareness training for staff and contractors.
• Identify threats to Mainframe Z Series and iSeries and propose mitigations.
• Stay updated on Mainframe security threats and trends; suggest improvements.
• Co-lead the 5-year Cyber Security product vision and roadmap.
