Job summary

Power Digital Marketing is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer to own the LookML semantic layer and govern analytics across a 1,000+ person organization and 600+ clients. You will translate stakeholder questions into durable models and ship scalable data products using Looker.

You will collaborate with Analytics Engineering on performance tuning, and mentor junior team members while enabling self-service analytics for internal and client use.

Qualifications

• 4+ years owning the full lifecycle of LookML models and data products.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake and BigQuery preferred).
• Strong foundation in dimensional modeling and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Agency experience in performance marketing analytics for multi-client environments.
• Experience deploying and governing LookML across multiple Looker instances.
• Experience with extensible LookML and modular visualizations in a multi-tenant environment.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and analysts; strong communication with engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Power Digital's LookML semantic layer as the governed foundation for analytics across our organization and clients.
• Write scalable LookML with rich metadata to support conversational analytics.
• Translate stakeholder asks into technical implementations and design Looker assets for reusable analytics.
• Build data products in Looker for internal and client use, focusing on UI/UX quality.
• Design LookML for scale and performance; collaborate on aggregate layer tuning and deployment across Looker instances.
• Maintain LookML style guide and naming conventions; mentor junior staff and train users in self-service analytics.
• Leverage AI technologies to maximize team productivity.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
