Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-year college/university).
• 10+ years in logistics operations or procurement.
• Experience with global forwarding companies in procurement/pricing sourcing.
• Experience in ocean freight sales to clients.
• Experience in international freight forwarding or port trucking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discovering logistics partners by analyzing customer requirements.
• Partner selection through RFQs, rate negotiations, and evaluations.
• Maintain partner pool with periodic credit assessments.
• Provide optimal service rate structures to support performance.
• Drive cost-based innovation to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor market conditions to minimize risks and enable proactive responses.
• Implement logistics market condition index management to detect risks.
