Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Lean Technician to support and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at improving productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost efficiency. You will analyze processes to identify waste, apply Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and line balancing to optimize workflows and improve layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a technology-related field is expected.
• Experience in manufacturing, EMS, or semiconductor environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) is required.
• Proven ability to analyze production metrics (Cycle Time, Takt Time, Line Rate).
• Experience with layout design of production lines and fixtures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and line balancing to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Design production accessories, jigs, fixtures, and racks to improve workflow and safety.
• Suggest and implement improvements in safety, quality, and waste reduction.
• Optimize workstations and material flow for better efficiency and space utilization.
• Maintain Lean performance reports and visual management dashboards.
• Perform 5S and ESD audits to ensure compliance with standards.
