Job summary

RealHomes.ph in the National Capital Region seeks a skilled backend developer to build and maintain APIs using Laravel. You will integrate Livewire components, design MySQL/PostgreSQL schemas, and ensure secure, scalable server logic while collaborating with frontend developers using Tailwind and Alpine.js.

The role requires a BS in CS or IT, strong PHP/Laravel fundamentals, and experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and basic CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong PHP and Laravel fundamentals (routes, controllers, models, migrations, Eloquent ORM).
• Basic knowledge of Livewire and its integration with Laravel.
• Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design principles.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend logic.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Laravel.
• Integrate and support Livewire components for dynamic interfaces.
• Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases: schema design, queries, migrations, and optimizations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between backend logic and Tailwind/Alpine.js UIs.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices.
• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Write basic unit and feature tests in Laravel to ensure code reliability.
• Work with Git for version control and collaborate via pull requests.
