Job summary

V2 Solutions seeks a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications using Kotlin and Java. You will leverage Spring Framework for REST API creation and cloud services to support deployment and scaling of backend systems.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, optimize data flows with Oracle/SQL databases, and explore Quarkus or Vert.x for advanced processing while upholding quality through testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Spring Framework and REST API design.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proven ability to work in a distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Utilize Spring Framework for dependency injection, REST API creation, and backend functionality.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange and integration.
• Work with Quarkus and Vert.x for optimized backend processing (a plus).
• Collaborate with QA to ensure secure, performant, and reliable applications.
