Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is looking for a full stack developer with 3–5 years of experience in Java platforms (Java EE) and modern frontend frameworks. You will design, build, test, and maintain web service applications, using UML, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines. Work in an Agile team and mentor junior developers, while collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes code quality, documentation, and continuous skill development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or in-progress in a technical field with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or problem-solving.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using Java platforms (Java EE).
• Proficiency with at least one frontend framework (React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining web service applications.
• Ability to read/interpet UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
• Knowledge of common design patterns.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools.
• Experience writing unit tests (JUnit/Mockito/PowerMock).
• Experience with JSON and YAML.
• Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and tasks.
• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service apps.
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs.
• Troubleshoot and implement software enhancements.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural designs and business needs.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Continuously improve technical skills through training.
• Collaborate to identify and implement development best practices.
• Act as technical contact for clients and stakeholders.
