Job summary

Cloud Bridge is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise-level Java applications for electronic trading across asset classes. You will leverage cloud infrastructure and FIX protocol integration to enable real-time processing.

Role requires 8+ years in global financial services, strong Java, FIX, Solace, and AWS experience. You will work in a hybrid setup, mentor teammates, and collaborate with DevOps and architecture on scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in global financial services, specifically trading systems development.
• Proven expertise in server-side Java design and development within banking/trading environments.
• Advanced proficiency in enterprise Java development.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle (Maven preferred).
• Hands-on FIX Protocol and FIX Engines in FX/Credit/Commodities environments.
• Working knowledge of Solace messaging middleware.
• Experience on AWS (EC2/EKS) deployments.
• CI/CD proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Strong Linux administration and command-line skills.
• SQL experience and database management.
• JUnit and related unit testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving with strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications for electronic trading systems.
• Maintain code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Provide L3 support for production deployment issues.
• Follow SaFe agile ceremonies and processes.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to follow guidelines.
• Work with remote regions and cross-team coordination.
• Follow SDLC and design patterns for development.
