Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Developer to drive continuous service improvements and build systems on the Java platform. You will lead projects, communicate with end customers, and ensure high quality coding, debugging, and prototyping across full stack applications.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, strong API integration, and expertise in Spring, JSF/JSP, and MySQL, with Tomcat 10.1, Maven, Ant, and Azure DevOps experience. Flexibility for shifting schedules is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or College degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and/or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, with expertise in application analysis and troubleshooting.
• Expert in Java (8 & 17), C#, .NET, with strong background in Full Stack Development and API Integration.
• Experience with Rest API, Spring Boot and Legacy Spring Framework, JSF / JSP.
• MySQL database experience.
• Application Server: Tomcat 10.1.
• Build Tools: Maven and Ant.
• Azure DevOps, TFS, Agile Scrum, Git Flow.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent skills in coding, debugging, testing and prototyping.
• Should be okay for shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze business processes and provide inputs to enhance or improve and clarify change request requirements.
• Evaluate change requests to determine feasibility, time required, compatibility and dependencies with current systems.
• Consult with Immediate Superior or directly communicate with end users to clarify change request requirements.
• Convert change request requirements into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and languages.
• Code computer programs following standard coding procedures and perform unit testing.
• Manage customer relationships and maintain high quality service ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist users to resolve major and complex problems in running computer programs.
• Assist in knowledge transfer during project turn-over.
• Proactively provide updates to customers on progress of initiatives.
• Maintain and update daily monitoring of service deliverables.
