Lennor Group, via PaxSigna, seeks a senior Java backend engineer for on‑site Cebu operations. You will develop and optimize Java microservices with Spring Boot, while collaborating with DevOps teams to run GKE on Google Cloud Platform and manage IaC pipelines.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, RCA, on‑call support, and production stability, with hands‑on exposure to Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Kubernetes, and ELK/EFK stacks.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• At least 2 years of practical DevOps experience involving Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of Java multithreading, concurrency, JVM internals, garbage collection, and memory profiling.
• Proven experience troubleshooting distributed systems and resolving production performance issues.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Java backend microservices and APIs using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to build, maintain, and optimize GKE infrastructure on GCP.
• Manage application containerization, Kubernetes deployments, and production environment operations.
• Implement and maintain IaC and deployment configurations using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
