Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design and build scalable backend services and APIs used by thousands of professionals. You will collaborate with a multinational team to deliver secure microservices, improve reliability, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code.

Responsibilities include RESTful API design, database optimization, cloud and container expertise, and active participation in architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Solid REST API design knowledge.
• Microservices architecture expertise.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).
• JPA/Hibernate or similar persistence frameworks.
• Strong Agile/Scrum collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).
