Job summary

Citco is seeking a driven Team Lead to guide a cross-functional team delivering on-prem and cloud-native applications for financial services. You will drive system design, ensure code quality through peer reviews, and deliver end-to-end features across development, testing, and DevOps.

The role requires strong Java/Spring experience, AWS expertise, and leadership skills in an agile environment. Expect collaboration with multiple stakeholders and ongoing adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience with software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Java /Spring/Hibernate.
• 3+ years with NodeJS + Typescript.
• 3+ years with React.
• 3+ years with Python.
• 2+ years in a team leadership role.
• 2+ years deploying applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of multiple AWS services and deployment/monitoring.
• Experience with Agile teams.
• Strong debugging, code tuning and refactoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of entire application.
• Plan and run Sprint activities (Planning, Execution, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective).
• Oversee code integration and CI/CD pipelines for existing and new modules.
• Drive architecture design and delivery across development, testing, DevOps and support.
• Break down complex features into tasks and stories.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and align them with Citco needs.
