We are looking for a Technology Controls Manager to lead a defined controls testing program and support the effective management of technology, cyber, and data risks. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to assess controls, identify risk exposures, provide practical advice, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Lead the Technology Controls Testing Program, including assessing control design and operating effectiveness.
Conduct risk and controls walkthroughs across technology, cyber, and data environments.
Identify, assess, and monitor technology operational and compliance risks.
Evaluate residual risk exposure and ensure alignment with risk frameworks, policies, controls, and regulatory obligations.
Partner with stakeholders to strengthen and improve risk and control management practices.
Provide practical risk and compliance advice to support the business.
Escalate significant technology, cyber, and data risk matters through appropriate governance forums.
Support initiatives that strengthen risk awareness and promote a strong risk culture.
Drive continuous improvement in technology risk and controls processes.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across the business.
At least 4 years' experience in Technology Risk Management, ideally within a large, complex, and highly regulated organization.
Strong understanding of technology operational risk management, controls, and compliance requirements.
Experience in technology controls testing, risk assessments, audits, or assurance activities.
Knowledge of technology audit and assessment standards such as CISA or CRISC.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST, Essential Eight, ISO 27001/27000, and PCI DSS.
Strong understanding of governance, risk, and stakeholder management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
