Job summary

China Construction Bank is seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage enterprise infrastructure in a banking environment. The role includes server room checks, production and disaster recovery systems, and collaboration with Head Office.

You will oversee incident and change management, DR testing, security, patching, backups, and budget ownership. Fluency in Mandarin and strong teamwork are essential to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Proven maintenance experience of Microsoft Exchange.
• Understanding of database architecture and experience with MySQL and MS SQL.
• Strong Mandarin communication and teamwork to liaise with Head Office.
• Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RCHE, MCSE).
• Bank experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform infrastructure management including server room routine checks and data center facilities health checks with vendors.
• Administer and maintain Linux/Windows servers and storages in production and DR environments.
• Govern incident, problem, and change management to maintain service stability.
• Establish and review IT Disaster Recovery and business continuity plans and test critical systems.
• Ensure infrastructure security, patch management, backups, and compliance with IT police standards.
• Lead capacity planning, technology refresh, and lifecycle management.
• Own the annual infrastructure budget, including CAPEX and OPEX.
• Provide IT operation support to the business department.
