Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior IT Commercial Analyst in the Philippines to manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of IT software products and IT services. You will handle renewals, acquisitions, license requests, supplier management, contract negotiations, governance, budgeting coordination, and PO facilitation.

• Minimum 5 years of IT procurement experience.
• Experience in software licensing, contract management, supplier management, or commercial operations.
• Proven negotiation experience on commercial agreements and vendor pricing.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, subscription and licensing models.
• Experience coordinating renewals and vendor evaluations.

What will you do?

The Senior IT Commercial Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of IT Software products and IT Services used across Aurecon. This includes software and Statement of Work (SoW) contract renewals, new software acquisitions, additional license requests, supplier management, contract negotiations, commercial governance, budgeting coordination, and purchase order facilitation.

The role serves as the primary commercial liaison between business stakeholders, IT Product leads, software and Services suppliers, legal teams, procurement, and finance teams to ensure IT Services and Software investments deliver value, remain compliant, and support business objectives.

• Manage end-to-end software licensing and IT services renewals, acquisitions and expansion requests.
• Engage stakeholders and Product Owners to validate business requirements and forecast future needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with software and service providers.
• Coordinate vendor evaluations with Procurement, Legal, Security, Risk & Assurance, and Architecture teams.
• Support purchase order creation, contract administration, and supplier payment processes.
• Monitor software licensing, contractual obligations, and supplier-driven changes.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive commercial value across the IT portfolio.
• Maintain accurate renewal pipelines, reporting, and commercial forecasts.

You will also need the following capabilities:

Experience and Expertise

• Minimum of 5 years of IT Procurement experience
• Demonstrated experience in software licensing, IT procurement, contract management, supplier management, or commercial operations.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, and vendor pricing arrangements.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models including SaaS, subscription, perpetual, concurrent, and named-user licensing.
• Experience managing multiple software and services contracts and renewals simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Financial and commercial analysis capability with advanced Excel reporting skills.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Workday, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of IT procurement governance, software asset management, and vendor risk processes.
• Experience managing enterprise software portfolios within consulting, engineering, technology, or professional services environments.
• Experience supporting Statement of Work (SoW) creation, administration, and governance.
