Job summary

FWD Life Philippines is seeking a Functional Systems Analyst to help implement technology solutions cost-effectively by defining project requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders. Collaborates with the technical resources on the development of technical solutions to business problems.

The role requires a degree in IT or related field and relevant certifications; 3+ years in analysis, preferably in insurance, with MS Office proficiency and exposure to automation/tools such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related field.
• CBAP, PSM or ITIL certification is an advantage.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Business or Systems Analyst.
• Preferably from the Insurance industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with automation tools and testing is an advantage (Jira, Slack, Teams; Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
• Experience with cloud solutions and life insurance system development is an advantage.

Job Purpose:

The functional systems analyst’s primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners. Collaborates with the technical resources on the development of technical solutions to business problems.

Education & Certification:

• B.S. in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with computer applications
• Any relevant certification is an advantage: (such as but not limited to)
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional)
  • PSM (Professional Scrum Master)
  • ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)

Experience:

• Preferably with more than 3 years previous experience as Business or Systems Analyst.
• Preferably from an Insurance industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
• Experience in automation tools is an advantage:
  • Collaborations and tracking: Jira / Slack / Teams
  • Testing: Selenium; Appium; Junit… etc.
• With experience in cloud solutions is an advantage
• Hands‑on experience in Life insurance system development and implementation is an advantage.
