Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior IT Auditor for a work-from-home night-shift role in the Philippines. You will develop audit methodologies, plan and conduct internal audits, and support ICFR assessments including IT walkthroughs and testing.

You will collaborate with process owners and external auditors, promote internal control awareness, and stay updated on accounting standards and IT practices. A strong IT audit background and SOX/COSO knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in public accounting or internal audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of IT processes and controls (COSO, COBIT) and SOX.
• Experience auditing IT General Controls and automated controls.
• Exposure to ERP, cloud tech, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal audit methodologies and contribute to the annual internal audit plan.
• Plan, organize, and conduct internal audit projects per annual plan or management/Audit Committee requests.
• Support ICFR assessment activities, including IT walkthroughs, testing, and result summaries.
• Ensure documentation supporting audit testing is sufficient and relevant.
