Remitly is seeking an IT Audit Senior Associate to lead the IT SOX program. In this remote role, you will mentor distributed IT teams on SOX and general controls, helping shape the IT governance framework.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of IT audit experience, and strong communication skills. You will track audit issues, monitor emerging risks, and assist with executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT auditing, preferably with public companies.
• Detailed understanding of IT governance frameworks and controls.
• One or more relevant professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing and documenting scoping of the IT SOX program.
• Collaborate with distributed IT teams and advise on IT risk management.
• Evaluate and ensure timely remediation of identified control deficiencies.
• Track audit issues and initiate follow-up actions.
