Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist based in the Philippines (Manila area) for a hybrid work setup. The role requires handling complex trades, corporate actions, and exceptions, while coordinating with clients, custodians, fund managers, and proxy vendors to ensure timely elections and entitlements.

You will oversee processing, reconcile discrepancies, manage system exceptions, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in investment operations or asset servicing.
• Deep understanding of securities processing, corporate actions, reconciliations, and operational risk.
• Ability to lead through influence without formal people management responsibility.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Role SummaryThe Investment Operations Specialist is a subject matter expert responsible for handling the most complex transactions, providing functional leadership, and driving operational excellence.
