Job summary

SGI Global LLC seeks a fluent Spanish-speaking Senior Criminal Investigations and Analysis Advisor to support INL in Mexico City. The role emphasizes leadership in high-impact investigations and collaboration with Mexican authorities and U.S. partners.

Travel may be required; candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong analytical and briefing skills, and a proven ability to work with a multilingual, multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international relations, law, criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration or related field.
• Five years of experience in Mexican criminal justice or law enforcement at state or federal level, including active participation in high-impact investigations (since 2016).
• Experience with investigative techniques, crime scene processing, evidence handling, and courtroom testimony.
• Proven relationships with key Mexican government officials or institutions in the last five years.
• Leadership experience managing teams and complex projects in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates criminal investigation and analysis projects to assist Mexican institutions.
• Coordinates INL work with U.S. and GOM officials and international partners.
• Maintains project documentation and supports grant/contract requirements.
• Tracks developments in Mexico’s criminal justice system and provides strategic guidance.
• Advise INL on project development, strategy, and procedures involving public safety and investigations.
• Other duties as required per INL profile.
