Axle Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Interoperability team to connect our AI-powered scheduling platform with EHR/EMR systems. You will own integrations end-to-end, from design and implementation to production support, working with vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable data exchange.

You will build scalable backend services for hundreds of thousands of patients, maintain strong data security, and drive projects across cross-functional partners in a fast-paced startup

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of integrations with external or legacy systems
• Autonomy in scoping work and driving to completion without step-by-step direction
• Comfortable investigating customer-reported issues and explaining problems, plans and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, performant, and secure systems
• Experience at a fast-paced startup or growth-stage company
• Bachelor's degree

Responsabilidades

• Design and build integrations between Axle Health's platform and EHR/EMR systems, including older systems with inconsistent APIs and limited documentation
• Own integration projects from first conversation through launch and ongoing production support
• Investigate customer-reported issues, find root causes across our systems and theirs, and execute resolution plans
• Coordinate with EHR vendors' and partners' technical teams to close documentation gaps and ensure integrations work as intended
• Sequence integration work, set milestones, and keep Engineering, Professional Services, and Product Management updated on progress and risk
• Build backend services that handle data for hundreds of thousands of patients with emphasis on data integrity and uptime
• Implement monitoring and resilience features at external system edges to surface issues early
• Maintain high code quality and clear documentation so integration knowledge is shared across the team
