Job summary

UNICEF Philippines seeks to establish a roster of senior international Child Protection specialists to deliver high-level technical advisory and support to national and sub-national child protection initiatives.

Consultants will work on governance, policy development, capacity development, and capacity-building activities for up to 30 months, with engagements based on program needs and funding. English required and international experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in relevant field (social sciences, law, public policy, or related area).
• Minimum 10 years progressively responsible experience in child protection or related field, including international work.
• Experience in policy development, systems strengthening and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical advisory on child protection systems strengthening.
• Support development/review of national and sub-national strategies and plans.
• Draft and review child protection laws, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Design and facilitate high-level consultations, workshops, and learning events.
