Job summary

JMT Modular Interior Construction Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Company Auditor to review financial records, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across head office and project sites. You will report findings to management and track corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of auditing experience, strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and labor laws, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of auditing experience, internal or external.
• Knowledge of PFRS, Philippine taxation, and labor compliance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and objective judgment.
• Willing to conduct audits at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out internal audits of accounting, purchasing, warehouse and logistics, and project site operations.
• Examine financial records, journal entries, disbursements, collections, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify inventory counts, materials issuance, and stock movements against records.
• Review project costs against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Audit payroll computations and statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR withholding tax).
• Check compliance with BIR, SEC, DOLE, and other applicable government requirements.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support BIR or other regulatory audits when required.
