Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking an experienced information security professional to join our security operations. You will design, implement, and manage security controls across endpoints, networks, cloud, and identity, while aligning with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor threats, analyze alerts, coordinate with IT and partners, drive remediation, and contribute to the development of security baselines and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in information security or related field.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security technologies and controls.
• Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint security, incident response support, or related security operations.
• Experience partnering with IT, infrastructure, cloud, or platform teams to implement or improve security controls in production.
• Experience supporting audits, assessments, control validation, or remediation activities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across endpoints, networks, identity, cloud, and infrastructure environments.
• Configure, administer, and optimize security technologies including endpoint protection, email security, firewalls, VPN, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and related platforms.
• Monitor security events, alerts, and control health to identify issues, investigate suspicious activity, and support response and containment efforts.
• Partner with IT and infrastructure teams to implement secure configurations and system hardening measures.
• Perform security assessments, configuration reviews, and vulnerability analysis to identify gaps and improvements.
• Support vulnerability remediation by validating findings and coordinating with system owners on corrective actions.
• Review penetration testing and security assessment results and drive remediation planning and closure tracking.
• Assist with security incident response activities, including investigation, containment support, documentation, and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to security standards, baselines, procedures, and engineering documentation.
