Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Hydropower Construction Supervision Lead with a strong background in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering. The role requires licensure, safety training, and experience coordinating with EPC contractors on large power projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years in construction supervision, including 5–7 years in hydropower, plus familiarity with commissioning procedures and BIM/digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed/Registered Engineer and professional licensure.
• Construction Safety Training and HSE certification.
• Master’s degree in Hydropower or related field preferred.
• FIDIC contract familiarity and contract administration training.
• Minimum 10 years in construction supervision with 5–7 years in hydropower/power projects.
• Experience with powerhouse civil and EM installation; testing and commissioning.
• Experience with EPC contractors; large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of commissioning procedures and BIM/digital tools.
• Multilingual communication; training/mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction supervision on hydropower projects to ensure safety, schedule and quality.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering teams and commissioning crews.
• Support testing, commissioning and start-up activities for power facilities.
• Apply FIDIC contract terms, change management and risk controls.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior staff and site teams.
