Jobtailor seeks a senior static design specialist in the Philippines to design, localize, and deliver consistent brand assets across platforms. You will build scalable Figma toolkits, ensure typography fidelity, and collaborate with clients and internal teams from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

Fluent in English.
Excellent working knowledge of static design software including Figma, Figma Buzz, Photoshop, Illustrator, and preferably After Effects.
Proven track record building Figma design systems for localization and scale.
Well versed in Figma and Figma Buzz with demonstrable scaled work.
Strong foundational design knowledge across graphic design.
Detail-oriented with thorough QA/QC abilities.
Knowledge of Google Workspace and platform-specific best practices.
Skilled in typography, composition, wireframing, and storytelling.
3+ years using AI to enhance the creative process.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple rounds of edits.
Adapts quickly to changing priorities; accepts feedback well.
Ability to follow client brand guidelines and maintain consistency.
Highly organized; eager to learn new skills and improve.
Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments.

Job description

Follow traffic management processes to achieve best-in-class results
Design, develop, and maintain Figma-specific design systems and architecture
Execute static outputs at scale across multiple languages, platforms, and specifications for digital campaigns, social content, video assets, product communications, and other digital touchpoints
Create designs using typography, graphic elements, illustrations, photography, product imagery, and UI components
Apply knowledge of APAC markets and cultural nuances
Turn static concepts and storyboards into polished executions while maintaining brand identity
Develop and maintain scalable Figma toolkits for localization across markets, languages, aspect ratios, and specifications
Edit and assemble bespoke static content, including image selection, localization, transcreation, and final delivery
Collaborate with clients, designers, art directors, copywriters, producers, and other designers from concept to delivery
Prepare, render, and export assets according to platform-specific technical requirements
Conduct thorough QA/QC for typography, localization, brand consistency, and technical specifications
Deliver localized static assets across multiple languages and adapt layouts for copy length, typography, and reading direction changes
Explore AI-assisted creative tools to improve ideation, production, versioning, or workflow efficiency
Present work to clients and internal stakeholders and respond constructively to feedback
Support motion design requirements using Adobe After Effects when necessary, while maintaining static design as the primary focus
Research static design and marketing trends to keep creative innovative and regionally appropriate
Lead by example and share knowledge, workflows, and best practices with the wider design team

Requirements

Fluent in English
Excellent working knowledge of static design software, including Figma, Figma Buzz, Photoshop, Illustrator, and preferably After Effects
Proven track record building Figma design systems for global localization and scale
Well versed in Figma and Figma Buzz and able to demonstrate scaled work
Strong foundational design knowledge across graphic design
Detail-oriented and able to conduct thorough QA/QC
Working knowledge of Google Workspace alongside platform-specific best practices
Skilled in concepting, typography, composition, wireframing, and storytelling
Exhibitable track record of additional creative design work
Excellent creative and technical skills in Static Design and strong attention to detail
Experience proofreading text beyond spell-check
3+ years of experience with AI and how it can benefit the creative process
Ability to multitask and manage multiple rounds of edits and amendments
Flexibility to adapt to quickly changing priorities and tasks
Openness to constructive criticism and ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Ability to adopt client brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency while creating innovative and strategic designs
Highly organized with an internal drive to continuously improve and learn new skills
