Job summary

Datawords Philippines is seeking a senior HTML email developer to build responsive, cross-client email campaigns from design files. You will work on table-based layouts with Outlook/Gmail compatibility and integrate with CRM platforms like Adobe Campaign, Splio, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

You will diagnose rendering issues, apply robust email-safe CSS, and validate through Litmus/Email on Acid. A collaborative, detail-focused engineer with 3+ years of experience will thrive in our hybrid

Qualifications

3+ years of HTML email development experience.
Proven experience building HTML email newsletters from scratch.
Experience in a digital agency or production environment is an advantage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities

Develop responsive, accessible, cross-client HTML email newsletters and templates from design mockups.
Integrate code into CRM and email platforms and perform pre-deployment QA.
Identify and fix complex HTML/CSS rendering issues, dark mode anomalies, and client bugs.
Apply email-safe CSS, VML, ghost tables, and conditional logic for pixel-perfect rendering.
Utilize Litmus or Email on Acid for cross-client validation before release.
Maintain scalable email design systems and reusable components.
Collaborate with designers, PMs, and production teams to meet deadlines.
Mentor junior team members and stay current on rendering standards.
Extract assets and specs from design tools like Figma or Photoshop for accurate implementation.
