Aurecon is seeking a Senior Hosting Engineer to manage and improve our global on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable hosting services, security, and SLA compliance while mentoring team members. You will deploy, monitor, and optimize Azure and AWS environments, work with VMware, manage backups, patching, and incident response, and drive automation for efficiency.

The role requires 6+ years of server engineering experience with ITIL knowledge and a strong focus on collaboration

Qualifications

6+ years as a Server Engineer with strong Azure admin skills.
Hands-on experience with Azure; AWS experience essential.
VMware vSphere 8+ and enterprise backup/storage management.
Familiar with ITIL and security compliance.

Responsibilities

Resolve incidents related to infrastructure operations and restore services promptly.
Support Solutions teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth service transitions.
Maintain operational documentation and knowledge articles for standards alignment.
Deploy, manage, and optimize on-prem and cloud infrastructure for performance and security.
Administer backups and recovery solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
