Job summary

AFRY is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – High Voltage to join our Manila, Philippines office. The role focuses on designing electrical works for projects, coordinating with other designers, and reviewing technical plans to meet client requirements and AFRY quality standards.

Candidate should have a professional electrical engineering license, 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, and HV/substation knowledge (69kV+).

Qualifications

• Professional license in electrical engineering.
• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with solar plants, high voltage HV equipment (69kV+).
• Relevant seminars and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good working relationships with clients and project team.
• Ensure design works meet client requirements and AFRY QA standards.
• Coordinate activities with Project Manager and other discipline engineers.
• Represent AFRY in dealings with clients regarding Electrical Engineering scope.
• Create lessons learned documents for completed projects.
• Assist Business Development by maintaining client relationships and identifying prospective projects.
• Assist in proposals for electrical engineering inputs.
• Discuss project development with superiors and provide recommendations to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
