Job summary

ib vogt GmbH is seeking a Grid Solutions Manager to oversee the grid infrastructure for PV power plants and BESS projects worldwide. You will manage engineering design, coordinate external consultants, and ensure compliance with grid interconnection requirements.

The role requires 8+ years in grid connections, international project experience, and fluency in English. Office-based with global stakeholder interaction and a dynamic, international team environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in grid connections for PV/BESS projects
• International project management experience
• Strong understanding of energy tech components and civil works
• Knowledge of NGCP processes and Grid Connection in the Philippines
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design of grid connections for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Coordinate external consultants and ensure grid interconnection compliance.
• Manage tendering specs for transformers, switchgear, and cables.
• Collaborate with on-site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders globally.
• Prepare documentation for management, lenders and advisors.
• Engage with utilities for technical discussions and grid energization.
• Ensure Grid Code compliance and due diligence in project development.
