Job summary

Wamrus Trading, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to manage import/export processes, weekly shipment consolidation and daily departure coordination.

You will liaise with forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments, accurate documentation, and proactive client support. The role also involves meticulous record keeping and occasional weekend reporting for trade fairs or events.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate weekly shipments
• Oversee daily loading of items for departure
• Submit daily booking requests
• Coordinate daily container departures with the forwarder
• Submit weekly ocean freight rate request to forwarder
• Prepare and update shipment consolidation monitoring files
• Prepare weekly shipment container and CBM monitoring files
• Prepare and update shipment forecast consolidation
• Prepare and update shipment arrival monitoring
• Coordinate with Marketing to remind suppliers of loading dates and concerns about departure dates
• Respond promptly to internal/external customer inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client relationships
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Backup: book approved shipments and monitor transactions in absence of colleagues
• Update shipment monitoring files daily in absence of colleagues
• Report on weekends for trade fairs or company events
• Assist colleagues when necessary
