Job summary

M Commerce Corporation in Taguig is seeking an on-site GL Accountant with 3-5 years of experience and a BS Accountancy degree (CPA preferred). You will handle day-to-day entry of general ledger transactions across entities and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative, proficient with spreadsheets and accounting software, and capable of preparing financial statements and audits in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy degree required or equivalent; CPA preferred.
• 3-4 years of related work experience in accounting or audits.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles; proficient with spreadsheets and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day entry of GL transactions for all assigned entities
• Analyze, reconcile, and maintain GL accounts and account schedules
• Administer month-end / year-end closing activities
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Prepare and administer financial related-audits and inquiries
• Ensure FS compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting best practices
