Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced AI Developer (Python) for its GenAI/LLM initiatives in Taguig. You will design and build scalable AI platforms, backend services and APIs, including RAG pipelines and vector-based retrieval systems.

You will implement agentic AI architectures, integrate with enterprise systems, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and observability across production environments. 4+ years of backend/GenAI experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience in backend/platform engineering with GenAI/LLM systems.
• Strong Python proficiency for AI application development, backend services and platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, prompt engineering and enterprise AI integrations.
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph; exposure to AutoGen, Google Agent SDK, Model Context Protocol or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines using vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS, Redis Vector, pgvector).
• Strong understanding of embeddings, semantic search, context retrieval strategies and optimization.
• Proficiency in building scalable backend services (Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven).
• Experience with Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Services; containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI); SQL and NoSQL data design and optimization.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation, observability, production support, data privacy and responsible AI governance.
• Banking/financial services domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AI platforms, backend services, APIs and enterprise AI systems.
• Build GenAI applications using LLM frameworks, RAG pipelines, vector databases and cloud-native backends.
• Implement agentic AI architectures with LangChain/LangGraph or equivalent integration patterns.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, third‑party apps, APIs and data platforms.
• Follow CI/CD, change control and release management; provide production support and monitoring.
• Participate in design/code reviews and architecture discussions for scalable, secure AI systems.
• Document architectures, deployment flows, data pipelines and operational procedures.
• Apply backend security, data protection and governance controls during solution development.
