Job summary

Amethyst Partners is assisting an international fund services provider in seeking a Senior Fund Accountant (Client Services) to support a growing client portfolio, focusing on open-ended funds and derivatives strategies.

You will manage relationships with fund managers, oversee NAV reporting, investor reporting, and onboarding for new funds, while enhancing controls and coordinating with fund accounting and operations teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with open-ended funds and derivatives strategies.
• Understanding NAV calculations, valuation and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with derivatives instruments (futures, options, swaps).
• Experience coordinating client relationships and deliverables in fund administration.
• Exposure to Transfer Agency (TA) functions and AML/KYC processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with fund management clients and ensure service delivery.
• Understand service offerings to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Serve as a key contact between clients, fund accounting and operations.
• Oversee onboarding of new clients and launches for existing funds.
• Coordinate NAV reporting, investor reporting and other client deliverables.
• Monitor SLAs and manage client expectations to ensure compliance.
• Support subscriptions, redemptions and other fund transactions.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Keep abreast of developments in the alternative investment industry.
