Job summary

Aon Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Makati to drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle and architecture for our digital solutions.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, and project managers, and steer modern technologies while aligning with security and industry standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering with 8+ years in IT and proven lead experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT industry and proven technical lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies including web development, cloud, APIs, databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET Core 8-10 (LTS) and MSSQL.
• Experience with modern web UI frameworks like Angular.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• CI/CD cloud deployment experience (Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and evolve technology stack including AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop Aon products by implementing, testing, debugging, analysing, reviewing and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, developers, testers, devops and project managers by providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Contribute to the design & architecture of digital solutions and recommending technologies and frameworks.
• Drive the implementation and integration of digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with technical analysts to update application design and API documentation.
• Contribute to architecture, process and quality improvement discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in digital technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth, and promoting technical excellence and innovation.
• Support production deployments.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Advocate the usage of AI tools to improve software delivery throughput and quality.
