Job summary

Expansion International Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a Europe-based EdTech SaaS client. You will design, build and maintain features across frontend and backend using React, TypeScript, PHP, Symfony, and GraphQL in a large-scale platform.

This fully remote role is Philippines-based, offering ownership from concept through delivery, collaboration with Product and Design teams, and opportunities to contribute to a mature product with ambitious roadmap.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional full stack software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial experience with PHP.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Symfony, Laravel, or another modern PHP framework.
• Proven experience building and maintaining full stack web applications.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack features across frontend and backend systems
• Build new modules and enhance existing functionality within a large-scale SaaS platform
• Develop user-facing functionality using React and TypeScript
• Build and maintain backend services using PHP and Symfony
• Design, build, and maintain APIs and GraphQL integrations
• Collaborate closely with Product teams throughout the design, planning, and delivery process
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and solution design
• Help modernise legacy modules and align them with current engineering standards and best practices
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
• Take ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle
