Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and enhance our end-user platform, focusing on frontend development with React and TypeScript, and scalable backend with Node.js.

You will collaborate with product owners and architects, contribute to automated testing and deployment, and mentor junior developers while delivering high-quality software across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years frontend software development experience.
• Experience with React.js and Node.js backend.
• Design and develop micro-frontend/microservices with Node.js and NPM.
• Knowledge of RESTful API services.
• SQL/NoSQL databases experience.
• Experience in production environments and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications based on documented requirements.
• Write, edit, and debug code; understand how applications operate.
• Support testing and resolve issues; respond to bug reports promptly.
• Mentor junior developers on patterns and coding challenges.
• Review designs and code; provide feedback and guidance.
• Own delivery schedule and quality; estimate effort for functionality.
• Design for stability, scalability, and performance; address tough problems.
• Use Test-driven Development to define executable designs.
