Job summary

Cruise Control Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and secure web applications across the stack, both frontend and backend. You will own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership in a remote Philippines role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production experience, strong React and Node.js skills, and a track record of architectural decision-making in cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Experience leading design and delivery of features or projects from concept to production.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain code across the stack (frontend, backend, databases).
• Lead technical design and architecture of new features and systems.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Lead code reviews and uphold architectural patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Drive performance, quality, reliability, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write unit and integration tests and shape test strategy with QA.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Lead integration of third-party APIs and services.
• Ensure data security and privacy standards are built into solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Maintain documentation of systems, architecture, workflows, and code changes.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, ceremonies, and retrospectives.
